Read →Updated 2026-10-10Deep Fishing is a Roblox fishing game by LazyGames. where the whole game is one loop: hold to charge a cast, release, and pull up as many fish as your rod can reach. Upgrades, rods, enchants, mutations and keys all exist to push that cast further out and deeper — because the water changes the further you throw.
This guide follows the September 2026 build (the update that added the sand key, the frozen key and the two temple rods). Where a number comes from the developer we say so; where it only exists because players measured it in-game, we say that instead.

The loop in four steps
- Cast far. Hold, release, and watch the depth bar on the right — further travel means deeper water.
- Catch a batch. One cast can hook several fish; deeper water draws from a better pool.
- Sell and re-invest. Coins go straight back into upgrades, because distance is progression.
- Unlock water, not levels. New water holds rarer fish, which pays for more distance.
Depth is the progression track

Before your first hour
- Buy Strength first, always — distance is the only thing that opens water.
- Sell everything early. Fish in your bag are coins you have not spent.
- Skip Bounce. Players running the build say so unanimously.
- Join the group and favourite the game — both pay out instantly, no codes involved.
- Keep the wooden rod — it is your fastest, and key hunts reward speed.

Quick answers
Is it free? Yes — free to play on Roblox, and every core upgrade is bought with in-game coins.
Does it have codes? No code box. Rewards come from joining the LazyGames. group and favouriting the game, and they arrive instantly.
How many per server? Twelve — quiet water is easy to find off-peak.
What do I do first? Cast, sell, and pour everything into Strength until your cast reaches the next band of water. That habit carries the first several hours.
